Union Station II

I’d been spending some time digging around in Photoshop looking at some of the things I don’t use very often. One neat feature is the rectangular to polar distortion filter. I took one of my Union Station images and ran it through the filter - gave the whole thing a kind of Escher look to it.

I’ll be playing around with this some more…

Union Station…

Union Station is the old disused rail station in downtown Indianapolis. If you know which window to climb through you can get unrestricted access to a truly wonderful old building.

Fortunately I had my buddy Will with me, he’s a grand master of dealing with over-zealous security guards - by the end of the visit he even got one of them to give us a tour.

Nice guy!

Stacy is a friend of Sara, she came along to the shoot and we put her through the same treatment as Sara. She told me that she didn’t like to smile in photographs, but we did manage to get a couple of smiles out of her on the day…

A big thankyou to both Sara and Stacy for being brilliant models - great to work with, and to Jamie for doing the her and make up - you guys rock!

Yay!

So rather than fix my broken Gallery 2.0 installation, I decided it was better to just re-install it.

So it’s back up and running!

Here are some of the images from the recent shoot with Sara:

[She was pretty cool about everything that we put her through, hair changes, makeup changes, freezing cold day - thanks Sara!]

It’s not easy looking this good when the temperature drops!
