Leaving Las Vegas

We got up really early yesterday morning to catch the sunrise over the strip. One of the best places to do this is the top of the Rio parking lot:

We had a long way to go, so we stopped off at the Peppermill for a bloody great big breakfast (tm).

Then after only 10 minutes cursing and shouting we got the GPS system hooked up to MapPoint and we were on our way…

    Last time we were in Vegas with Steve’s parents, we accidently found the best place to see the Vegas Strip. This time we decided that we had to take a picture. We tried the night before, but the wind was so strong it could almost knock you down. But this morning, was perfect!

    I am so excited to get going to the Grand Canyon….
